TLC Hair Extensions Academy – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to TLC Hair Extensions Academy. By booking an appointment or attending a training session, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Appointments & Bookings

• All appointments require a non-refundable booking fee to secure your slot.
• Full payment is due on the day of your appointment or as per your invoice terms for training.
• Prices may vary based on consultation, hair length, thickness, and services required.

2. Consultations

• A consultation may be required before certain services (e.g., extensions, colour corrections).
• You must provide accurate information regarding your hair history and condition to ensure the best results.
• Patch tests may be required at least 48 hours prior to services involving chemicals (e.g., tinting, Brazilian Blow Dry).

3. Cancellations & No Shows

• We require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules.
• No-shows or late cancellations may result in a charge of up to 50% of the service cost.
• Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.

4. Arrival & Lateness

• Please arrive on time to ensure your full service can be carried out.
• Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit their appointment and be charged 50% the cancellation fee.

5. Refunds & Adjustments

• We do not offer refunds on services. However, if you are not fully satisfied, please contact us within 7 days for a review.
• Any adjustments offered are at the discretion of the stylist and must be arranged within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Children & Guests

• Due to health and safety regulations, and to maintain a relaxing environment, we kindly ask that children and guests not receiving services do not attend appointments.

7. Health & Safety

• Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or recent illnesses prior to your appointment.
• We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it may compromise your health or the safety of others.
• Please be kind. Any abuse from customers will result in stopping all services. Your hair will be washed and partially dried and you will be asked to leave the salon. No further bookings will be honoured. There are cameras all around the salon. 

8. Training Terms

• All course bookings require a non-refundable deposit.
• Cancellations or date changes must be made at least 7 days in advance.
• Certification is only issued upon successful completion of training and assessment.

9. Photography & Social Media

• We may request to take before/after photos for use on our website or social media.
• If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your stylist before the service begins.

10. Privacy Policy

• Your personal information is kept confidential and is never shared with third parties without your consent.
• We may contact you occasionally for marketing purposes – you can opt out at any time.
